1. Quotations & Estimates
All quotations provided by Land Home Improvements Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of survey and may be subject to change if unforeseen circumstances arise.
2. Booking & Deposit
A deposit may be required to secure your booking. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be clearly outlined in your written quotation. Work will commence on the agreed start date once the deposit has been received.
3. Payment Terms
Final payment is due on completion of the works, unless a staged payment schedule has been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and card payments. Late payments may incur interest charges in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or postpone your project, please provide at least 14 days notice. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover reserved materials and labour scheduling.
5. Access & Site Conditions
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access to the worksite and for disclosing any known hazards, underground services, or restrictions prior to work commencing. We reserve the right to halt work if site conditions become unsafe.
6. Warranties & Guarantees
All work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from completion, subject to the specific terms outlined in your quotation. This guarantee covers workmanship and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or natural events beyond our control.
7. Liability
Land Home Improvements Ltd maintains full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted works. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects in structures, drainage, or services that are not visible at the time of quotation.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your project.
